SANJAY SONI FROM DAUBHILL SENTENCED TO SIX YEARS FOR SEXUAL OFFENSES INVOLVING SCHOOLGIRL

A 41-year-old man identified as Sanjay Soni, residing on Farringdon Walk in the Daubhill area, has been sentenced to six years in prison following a conviction related to serious sexual misconduct. The court proceedings revealed that Soni had falsely claimed that his medical treatment rendered him impotent, a statement that was ultimately dismissed by the jury as untruthful.

During the trial, it was established that Soni engaged in sexual activities with a girl who was only 15 years old at the time. The evidence also showed that he had taken deliberate steps to groom her by creating a fake Facebook account, which he used to establish a deceptive relationship with the minor.
