ADAM SADLER - KNOWN AS RIAN DIMITRI JAILED IN SELKIRK FOR ABUSE OF THREE YOUNG WOMEN

Aliases: Ryan Sadler, Adam Sadler, Rian Dimitri A 31-year-old man, Adam Sadler, also known as Rian Dimitri, has been sentenced to over three years in prison at Selkirk Sheriff Court for committing an extensive series of abuses against three young women.

Sadler engaged in sexual activity with two of the women when they were under 16 and he was a teenager at the time.

He pled guilty to a total of six charges involving the three victims over a span of 12 years, starting from November 2008.

His convictions include the underage sexual encounters, as well as two counts of assault causing injury, and two charges of threatening or abusive behavior across locations in Galashiels and Walkerburn.

Sheriff Peter Paterson stated: “You have pleaded guilty to an appalling catalogue of abuse of three young women.

The effect you had on at least one of those was devastating.

One could not read the victim impact statement without realising what you have done to a life.

The court has no alternative but to impose a significant custodial sentence.” Sadler, whose address was listed as Innerleithen, received a 40-month prison sentence, which was back-dated to July 21.

Upon release, he will be under supervision for eight months.

Additionally, three Non-Harassment Orders were issued, prohibiting him from contacting the three women for the next four years.

He was also ordered to comply with the notification requirements under the Sexual Offences Act for a period of 10 years.
