RYAN OLDFIELD FROM CHORLEY SHOCKS COMMUNITY WITH BRUTAL DOG ABUSE AND WOMAN BEATING INCIDENT

Ryan Alexander Oldfield, born on March 11, 1992, and residing at Baker Close, Buckshaw Village, Chorley PR7 7BX, has been convicted of heinous acts of animal cruelty and violence against a woman. The incident that led to his conviction took place in Chorley on August 12, 2018, and has since garnered significant attention due to the severity of his actions.

Oldfield, who originally hails from Morecambe, has a history that is described as somewhat shady, raising concerns about his past behavior and character. On the day in question, he committed a shocking act of animal cruelty by throwing a pet dog approximately 20 feet over a stream, an act that not only endangered the animal’s life but also demonstrated a blatant disregard for animal welfare.

In addition to the animal abuse, Oldfield was also involved in a violent assault against a woman. During the same incident, he physically beat her, further highlighting a pattern of aggressive and violent conduct. These charges were formally admitted by Oldfield during a hearing held at Preston Magistrates’ Court, where he pleaded guilty to causing unnecessary suffering to the animal and to assaulting the woman.

His appearance before the magistrates resulted in a sentence that included a requirement to participate in a rehabilitation activity program. Specifically, Oldfield was ordered to engage in the Building Better Relationships probation scheme, aimed at addressing behavioral issues and preventing future violence. The court also imposed a total financial penalty of £170, covering costs and charges related to the case.

Oldfield’s actions have shocked the local community in Chorley, raising concerns about safety and animal welfare. The case underscores the importance of strict legal consequences for cruelty and violence, and highlights ongoing efforts to rehabilitate offenders and prevent such incidents from recurring in the future.
