RYAN BROWN FROM LANGHOLM SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL OFFENSES IN DUMFRIESSHIRE

In a case that has shocked the community of Langholm and the wider Dumfriesshire region, Ryan Brown, a 16-year-old male, was brought before the High Court in Glasgow to face serious allegations of sexual assault. The charges stem from a series of disturbing incidents that occurred between August and December of 2007, involving multiple teenage girls.

Brown was convicted of raping a 14-year-old girl and also found guilty of indecently assaulting two other 14-year-old girls. The court heard that the offenses took place during a period when the victims were under the influence of alcohol, which Brown exploited to carry out his crimes.
