ROY GIBSON FROM WAWNE AND HESSLE SENTENCED FOR RAPE OF 14-YEAR-OLD GIRL IN SHEFFIELD
In a case that has shocked the local communities of Hessle and Wawne near Hull, Roy Gibson, a 49-year-old man residing at Glebe Farm in Wawne, was convicted of serious sexual offenses involving a minor.The incident dates back to 2002, when Gibson, a known kung-fu instructor, committed the heinous act of raping a 14-year-old girl whom he had known since she was 13 years old.
Gibson's criminal actions came to light during a trial held at Sheffield Combined Court.
The jury, after deliberating for approximately five and a half hours, found him guilty on multiple charges, including rape, perverting the course of justice, and engaging in sexual intercourse with a girl under the age of 16.
