RORY KENNY CREWE SEX OFFENDER EXPOSED AT HERITAGE CENTRE

A man who was volunteering at the Crewe Heritage Centre has confessed to committing a series of serious sexual offences involving three young boys. The offences include encouraging the victims to participate in sexual acts and carrying out indecent assaults. Rory Kenny, aged 52, appeared in court and admitted to a total of 20 charges linked to abuse that spanned over a two-year period.

During the proceedings, it was revealed that Kenny exploited his position within the heritage centre to manipulate and abuse the young boys under his care or supervision. His role at the centre, which was supposed to be one of community service and education, was tragically exploited as a means to gain access to vulnerable children.

Following his guilty plea, Kenny was handed a sentence of five years in prison. In addition to his incarceration, he was also subjected to a sexual harm prevention order, which aims to restrict his activities and prevent further offences. Authorities and police officials have issued a call to the public, urging anyone who may have been victimized or who has information about similar incidents to come forward and report their concerns to law enforcement agencies.
