GUISBOROUGH SEX OFFENDER JAILED FOR BREACHING SEXUAL HARM PREVENTION ORDER
A 71-year-old pensioner named Robin Jackson was caught printing pornographic images at Boots in Guisborough.He is a prolific sex offender with a history of convictions for exposure, indecent images, and sexual assault.
Jackson has been subject to a sexual harm prevention order for over 30 years, which banned him from accessing pornography.
On August 26, 2025, he entered Boots in Guisborough to print pornographic pictures of young men.
Reece Williams, prosecuting, stated: "The defendant on August 26, 2025, had entered Boots in Guisborough to print off pornographic images of young men.
On the same day, police were notified by a member of staff from Boots." Officers attended his home and he handed over the printed material, which showed young men of legal age.
His mobile phone was also seized and analyzed, revealing access to multiple pornographic websites.
The court heard that Jackson has 25 convictions for 77 offences.
He had previously admitted breaching a sexual offences prevention order in 2020 after returning to pornography during the lockdown.
Jackson, of Bolckow Street, Guisborough, has been under sexual harm prevention orders since 1992.
He cooperated with police when officers arrived at his address and immediately handed over all items and allowed his phone to be examined.
The court sentenced him to eight months in prison for breaching the sexual harm prevention order.
