HUNTLY LORRY DRIVER ADMITS REPEATED RAPE OF 13-YEAR-OLD GIRL
During one incident, Robin Bolland, 30, took the teenage girl away for an overnight in his lorry where he sexually assaulted and raped her.
He also continued to abuse and violate her at various roads and addresses around the Huntly area.
Bolland had been grooming the girl since October 2018, often taking her with him on work trips.
He persuaded her to perform sex acts and raped her multiple times, including outside her home when she was 14.
The girl confided in her mother in April 2023, leading to Bolland's arrest.
When interviewed, he initially claimed the sex was consensual but later accepted it was not.
Bolland pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting and raping a girl underage.
The High Court in Aberdeen remanded him in custody and deferred sentencing for background reports.
