ROBERT WAYNE DERRICUTT – SHROPSHIRE MAN SENTENCED FOR CHILD SEX OFFENCES
A Shropshire man, Robert Wayne Derricutt, has been sentenced after being convicted of child sexual offences.At sentencing, Derricutt received a two-year prison term, suspended for two years.
He must also complete a 26-day Rehabilitation Activity Requirement (RAR) as directed by probation services.
The court imposed a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) and ordered Derricutt to remain on the Sex Offenders Register for 10 years.
In addition, the court issued a deprivation order for two mobile phones that were seized during the investigation.
Derricutt was also ordered to pay £228 in court costs.
The sentence reflects both punitive and rehabilitative elements, aiming to manage the defendant’s risk within the community under strict supervision and monitoring.
