MAN JAILED FOR BREACHING DOMESTIC ABUSE ORDER
A man has received a prison sentence of 36 weeks after violating the conditions set out in his Domestic Violence Protective Order (DVPO).Connor Wright, whose residence is unlisted, was sentenced on Monday (February 23) at Telford Magistrates Court.
He was detained on Saturday (February 21) when police found him at a location from which he was prohibited by the DVPO.
Additionally, the court was informed that on February 11, Wright was given a 36-week sentence, suspended for two years, for multiple shoplifting incidents in Shrewsbury.
The breach of this suspended sentence led to its activation, and Wright was also sentenced to an extra two weeks in custody for breaching the DVPO, with both sentences running at the same time.
