WATERLOO MAN ROBERT MCGOVERN CAUGHT WITH CHILD INDECENT IMAGES IN SHOCKING CASE
In a disturbing case that has shocked the local community of Waterloo, Robert McGovern, a 35-year-old resident of Waterloo Road, has admitted to possessing a significant collection of indecent images of children.The charges against him were formally presented at Sefton Magistrates Court on February 24, following a police search of his property that took place on March 23 of the previous year.
According to the prosecution, law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at McGovern’s flat located on Waterloo Road after receiving credible information suggesting that he was involved in downloading and storing child abuse images.
During the search, officers discovered multiple images stored on his electronic devices, which led to the charges being brought against him.
