CHILD SEXUAL ABUSER DUBBED 'PAEDO DADDY' JAILED FOR ONLINE CHATS
A vile pervert dubbed himself "Paedo Daddy" while speaking to an undercover police officer online.48-year-old Phillip Norris spent months exchanging a series of sexualised messages with a '12-year-old girl', telling her that he would travel more than 200 miles to meet up with her.
Unbeknownst to him, he was actually talking to a decoy account.
He was banned from having contact with children as a result, but continued to stay at his partner's home along with her six-year-old daughter, even picking her up and dropping her off at school at times, the Liverpool Echo reports.
Liverpool Crown Court heard Norris, of Ashlar Road in Waterloo, engaged in a series of sexualised conversations with an undercover officer, who had been posing as a 12-year-old girl on social media sites Chatiw and Teleguard, between July and October of 2024.

Norris told the supposed girl that he was "getting horny talking to her", asked her to perform oral sex, and if she would "want to f***" and suggested that she could carry out further sexual acts in the shower.
The 48-year-old also sent an explicit picture and video, requesting that she sent him explicit images in return.
Having suggested meeting up and after being told that the schoolgirl lived in Slough, he remarked that "it would be worth travelling that distance to meet someone like her" and told her to keep their chats "secret from her mum".
This led to his arrest on October 10 that year and police seizing two laptops and an iPhone from his home.
When analysed, these devices were found to contain a total of 125 indecent images of children, including 44 pictures and videos in category A, the most serious forms of abuse.
A further four computer generated images depicting child sexual abuse and one of an adult engaging in acts of bestiality were also recovered.
Norris subsequently pleaded guilty to multiple charges before magistrates and was told to sign the sex offenders' register on an interim basis ahead of his sentencing hearing.
Having been required to inform police of his current home and not to remain at a property with a child for more than 12 hours as part of a court order, he flouted these conditions by failing to notify officers of his address.
He also stayed over at his girlfriend's house on at least seven occasions between March 5 and 17 this year while her six-year-old daughter was present, including collecting and dropping her off from school.
He was seen with his head bowed and wiping away tears during the hearing, and was sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison.
Additionally, he will be required to notify as a sex offender for life and is subject to an indefinite sexual harm prevention order.
