ROBERT MALIN FROM KINGS STANLEY ESCAPES PRISON AFTER BEING CAUGHT WITH VILE CHILD ABUSE IMAGES IN BATH ROAD
In a case that has shocked the local community of Kings Stanley, 29-year-old Robert Malin, residing on Bath Road, was found in possession of highly disturbing and illegal images depicting child abuse.The incident came to light after authorities conducted a search at his residence in October 2017, uncovering a disturbing collection of digital material.
On October 19, 2017, Malin faced charges related to the possession of indecent images of children, with prosecutors revealing that he admitted to three counts of possessing such images.
Additionally, he was charged with one count of possessing a prohibited image of a child, further emphasizing the severity of the case.
The police action was initiated after a warrant was executed at Malin’s home in Kings Stanley, during which three electronic devices were seized.
A forensic examination of these devices uncovered a total of 666 images and videos depicting children being subjected to abuse.
Among these, 134 were classified as Category A images, which are considered the most serious and disturbing form of child exploitation material.
Despite the gravity of the evidence, the court decided against imposing a prison sentence.
Instead, Judge [Name], presiding over the case, handed down a three-year community order.
This order mandates that Malin attend a specialized sex offender treatment program, aimed at addressing his behavior and preventing future offenses.
