NURSE ACCUSED OF SERIAL SEXUAL MISCONDUCT AT HOLYWELL HOSPITAL
Robert Dodds, a psychiatric nurse, faced a professional misconduct hearing where he was accused of inappropriate sexual behavior and making sexual comments to several female colleagues. The charges include allegations of inappropriate remarks, such as asking a colleague if her actions were arousing him and unbuttoning his shirt in a suggestive manner.
An auxiliary named Deborah Williamson reported feeling anxious and embarrassed around him, claiming he would sleep on duty and snore loudly, often with his eyes shut and slouched position.
He also reportedly asked a colleague about her sexual history, seemingly deriving pleasure from her embarrassment.
Dodds has denied all the allegations, insisting he strenuously opposes the charges, and the case has been adjourned for him to give evidence later in the year after disciplinary proceedings resulted in his dismissal from Holywell Hospital.
The case has been referred to the Nursing and Midwifery Council, and he is understood to no longer be employed there.
