RICHARD LOVELL SHAKES BABY IN BLACON: DEVASTATING TRAGEDY IN CHESTER

In a heartbreaking case that has shocked the community of Blacon and the wider Chester area, Richard Lovell, a 31-year-old man, was involved in a violent incident that ultimately led to the death of his young son, R-Jay. The tragic events unfolded on February 6, 2012, when Lovell, who was then a chef, was left in charge of the three-month-old boy while the child's mother, Leanne Bullock, went out to visit her grandmother.

At around 10 a.m., Miss Bullock departed from their family home in Blacon, Chester, leaving her son in Lovell's care. Initially, R-Jay appeared content, and Lovell was seen watching television.
