MAN IN COURT GUILTY OF MAKING CHILD PORN IN HUDDERSFIELD

In 2013, Richard Bugg, a 37-year-old man from Huddersfield who admitted to creating child pornography involving girls as young as three, has been ordered to sign the sex offenders’ register for five years.

Bugg, from Campbell Street, Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, appeared at Leeds Crown Court where he received a sentence of a community order with a three-year supervision requirement.

He was also told to register as a sex offender for five years and was subjected to a sexual prevention order that remains in effect until further notice.

Initially denying the charges, Bugg changed his plea to guilty before sentencing, admitting to 20 counts of producing indecent images of children dated up to October 6, 2011.

The victims’ ages ranged between three and 15.

Bugg further admitted to possessing a total of 3,063 Level 1 images, one Level 2 image, ten Level 3 images, and two Level 4 images, the latter showing penetrative sex involving a child and an adult.

In addition, he confessed to owning 10 counts of extreme pornographic material, including 65 images depicting bestiality classified at Level 5.

The court heard he accessed a website that featured 'adult bestiality' content, and evidence indicated he had visited a second site, though it was not specified whether the visit was a result of a browser redirect or other means.
