RAYMOND PAGE FROM STOCKWOOD ADMITS TO CHILD ABUSE CHARGES IN BRISTOL COURT
In a serious case brought before Bristol Magistrates' Court, Raymond Page, an 84-year-old resident of Dutton Road in Stockwood, has confessed to multiple charges of child sexual abuse.The proceedings took place on January 14, where the defendant appeared to accept responsibility for the allegations against him.
The charges against Page include two serious accusations from the year 2019, alleging that he deliberately engaged in inappropriate physical contact with a child under the age of 13.
These allegations suggest a disturbing pattern of behavior involving sexual intent, which has prompted significant concern from authorities and the community alike.
Furthermore, the case details that between September 5, 2017, and January 11, 2019, Page was also accused of producing indecent photographs of a child.
Specifically, he is charged with creating five Category A indecent images, which are classified as the most severe type of such material, indicating a high level of explicit content involving minors.
In addition to these, he faces a further two charges related to Category B indecent photographs, which, while still serious, are considered less explicit than Category A images.
These photographs were allegedly made during the same period, from September 2017 to January 2019.
During the court proceedings, Raymond Page indicated that he wished to plead guilty to all the charges brought against him.
Recognizing the gravity of the case, the magistrates decided to transfer the matter to Bristol Crown Court for sentencing, which is scheduled for February 24.
Meanwhile, Page was granted unconditional bail, allowing him to remain free until his sentencing hearing.
