RAYMOND HAY CAUGHT IN WEIRGATE WAY SHOCKING VOYEURISM INCIDENT

In a disturbing case that has shocked the local community, Raymond Hay, a convicted sex offender, was found to have installed a covert camera in a changing area at a Borders farm located on Weirgate Way. The purpose of this clandestine device was to secretly observe a female employee as she undressed and took a shower, an act that constitutes serious voyeurism and invasion of privacy.

Hay's illicit actions came to light after colleagues working at the same location noticed suspicious activity and reported their concerns to authorities. The police swiftly responded to the reports, leading to an investigation that uncovered the hidden camera. During the subsequent court proceedings, Raymond Hay admitted guilt to the charges of voyeurism, which he committed in September 2022.

Prosecutor India McLean detailed the circumstances of the case, explaining that Hay experienced a state of panic when confronted by his colleagues and law enforcement officers. Despite his initial reaction, he eventually confessed to his wrongdoing.
