RAY WRIGHT OF WELLINGBOROUGH: DANGEROUS SEX OFFENDER STILL AT LARGE IN LOCAL PARKS

Wright has an extensive and troubling history of paedophilic activities, which include accessing and possessing indecent images of children, as well as creating videos involving minors. Allegations also suggest that he was involved in a sexual assault on a five-year-old boy during the early 1980s, although details remain unconfirmed publicly.

Sources close to the investigation reveal that Wright frequently walks his dogs in local parks and other outdoor areas where children are known to play. These locations are often frequented by families and young children, raising concerns among residents and authorities alike. Despite his criminal background, Wright continues to be seen in these public spaces, which has heightened fears among parents and community members.

Adding to the community's alarm is the fact that Wright's wife is reportedly standing by him, which has further complicated efforts to address his presence and activities in the area. The ongoing threat he poses has led to calls for increased surveillance and intervention to prevent any potential harm to children.

Back in October 2010, a woman who identified herself as Michelle, a mother of three from Watford, Hertfordshire, made headlines for her outspoken campaign against Wright. She publicly accused him of being a paedophile and launched a Facebook group titled “Ray Wright The Paedophile,” which quickly gained over 2,380 members. Michelle’s campaign aimed to warn other parents about Wright’s past and present activities.

Michelle also revealed that she had confronted Wright directly, demanding the return of a video he had recorded in 2000, which showed her two sons naked in the bath. Her efforts to alert authorities and the public were met with hostility; police reportedly visited her shortly after her online campaign gained traction, threatening her with arrest. Michelle expressed her outrage, stating, “I am appalled he can be allowed into homes. Parents should be aware of who he is.”

It is also known that Wright runs Northampton-based Carpet Bright Limited, a carpet cleaning business. Notably, he was recognized for his bravery during the London bombings in 2005, when he led passengers on his Aldgate train to safety following the terrorist attacks. Despite his past and the ongoing concerns, Wright has refused to comment publicly on these issues. The community remains vigilant, awaiting further action from law enforcement to ensure the safety of children in Wellingborough and surrounding areas.
