MAN WITH A CRIMINAL PAST COMMITS NAKED RAMPAGE AT DUNDEE TOY STORE
Przemyslaw Kaluzny, a man with a troubling criminal history, admitted to a series of serious offences committed at a Dundee toy store.According to court reports, Kaluzny stormed into Toys R Us on Easter Sunday with a cricket bat, during which he stripped off all his clothes and shouted at staff and customers, creating a state of alarm.
He proceeded to behave aggressively, brandishing the weapon, and then seized a child by the arm, dragging the child along the ground and holding him against his will.
Additionally, Kaluzny assaulted the child's grandmother with the cricket bat, inflicting injury.
Police responded swiftly, arresting him; however, he managed to break the cuffs during transportation.
At Dundee Sheriff Court, Kaluzny admitted to six charges, including behaving in a threatening manner with a weapon, public indecency, abducting a child, assault, vandalism, and damaging police property.
His past includes serving time in Poland for robbery (four and a half years in 1997) and hostage taking (10 months in 1998), along with convictions for burglary.
His criminal record and recent actions prompted serious concerns, and a sentence was deferred to later in the year for sentencing.
