TUTOR SENTENCED TO JAIL FOR CHILD IMAGE OFFENCES
A tutor named Philip Riddiford-Bell, aged 32, of Skerne Road, Driffield, has been sentenced to three years in jail for sending indecent images of children to his lover.
He admitted to three sex offence charges during a court hearing at Hull Crown Court on 7 March.
Additionally, he was subjected to an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
Riddiford-Bell pleaded guilty to possessing extreme pornography, and possessing and distributing indecent images of children.
As part of his sentencing, he was ordered to sign the sex offenders register for life.
A co-defendant, Aimee Esnee, aged 30 from Cedars, Weeton, received a six-month suspended jail term for possessing indecent images of children, was fined £1,000, and also required to register as a sex offender for seven years.
Esnee had admitted to one charge of possessing indecent images of children, with a court hearing on 11 May.
