Peter Rimmer, a resident of Ribble Avenue in Southport, has been linked to a disturbing series of violent and criminal activities that have shocked the local community. The sequence of events began in the early hours when Rimmer forcibly entered the residence of his former partner, Samantha Morris, with the intent to steal her belongings. During this break-in, he took her pet dog, Nala, an act that added to the distress caused by his actions.

Following the theft, Rimmer took to social media, specifically Snapchat, to send disturbing images and videos of the stolen dog to Ms. Morris. In these messages, he issued a threatening warning, stating,
