PENSIONER PETER KELLETT SENTENCED TO OVER THREE YEARS IN PRISON IN THE CITY FOR CHILD SEX OFFENSES
A 77-year-old pensioner named Peter Kellett has been sentenced to more than three years in prison after being found guilty of child sex offenses committed over a decade ago.Kellett was convicted of indecent assault and indecency with a child related to incidents involving two victims aged between 7 and 12, with the offenses occurring between 1972 and 1982.
Victims who came forward recounted their suffering, providing emotional testimony that contributed to the case. The court took into account his lack of prior convictions when delivering the sentence.
In addition to his prison sentence, Kellett has been placed on the sex offenders register and ordered to pay a surcharge.
