DAGENHAM PERVERT PETER FISHER SENT TO PRISON FOR SEXUAL ABUSE OF TEENAGE GIRLS IN DAGENHAM AND BEYOND

In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Dagenham, Peter Michael Fisher, a 20-year-old man, has been sentenced to seven and a half years in prison for a series of heinous crimes involving the sexual abuse and blackmail of teenage girls. The court heard how Fisher exploited social media platforms to target vulnerable young victims, gaining their trust before coercing them into sending explicit images.

Fisher’s predatory behavior spanned over a year, beginning in October 2016 and continuing until September of the following year. During this period, he traveled across the country, including trips to Great Yarmouth where he was on holiday with his family, to meet with his victims. The victims ranged in age from 13 to 16, and Fisher’s actions included engaging in sexual activities with at least one underage girl, a 15-year-old, fully aware of her age.

Despite being arrested and released on bail after two victims came forward and provided statements, Fisher did not cease his abusive conduct. Instead, he continued to manipulate and exploit his victims, which led to his rearrest in November. Following his re-arrest, he was formally charged with 11 criminal offenses, including multiple counts of sexual communication with a child, causing a child to engage in sexual activity, malicious communication, and possession of indecent photographs of a child. Three additional charges were added to the list as the investigation progressed.

In court, Fisher pleaded guilty to six counts of sexual communication with a child, two counts of causing a child to engage in sexual acts, two counts of malicious communication, one count of causing a child to watch a sexual act, and possession of indecent images. The judge sentenced him to seven and a half years in prison, reflecting the severity of his crimes and the impact on his young victims.

This case highlights the dangers of online grooming and the importance of vigilance in protecting vulnerable minors from predators like Fisher, whose actions have left a lasting scar on the lives of those he targeted in Dagenham and beyond.
