PAUL BRADBURY FROM MOW COP SENTENCED FOR CHILD INDECENCY OFFENSES NEAR CHESHIRE AND STAFFORDSHIRE

In a significant case that has drawn considerable attention, Paul Bradbury, a resident of Mow Cop, located near the border between Cheshire and Staffordshire, has been convicted and sentenced to over four years in prison for serious offenses involving indecent photographs of a child.

On Friday, December 6, at Chester Crown Court, the 49-year-old man received a total prison term of 51 months after being found guilty of multiple charges related to child exploitation and indecency. The court's decision came after a thorough investigation into his activities, which included possession, creation, and distribution of illicit images.

Bradbury-Ford faced a total of ten charges, which encompassed three counts of making indecent photographs of a child, one count of taking such photographs, and one count of possession of indecent images of a child. Additionally, he was charged with possession of a prohibited image of a child, highlighting the severity of his actions. The court also found him guilty of three counts of assisting in the commission of an either-way offence and distributing indecent photographs of a child, further emphasizing the malicious nature of his conduct.

As part of the sentencing, the court ordered the forfeiture and destruction of his laptop and mobile phone, devices that were instrumental in committing the offenses. Furthermore, Bradbury-Ford was placed on the sex offenders register indefinitely, a measure that underscores the ongoing risk he poses to the community.

He was also issued a sexual harm prevention order that will remain in effect indefinitely, restricting his access to certain online activities. Specifically, he is prohibited from using any computer or device capable of accessing the internet unless he notifies the police at least three working days prior to doing so. The police reserve the right to conduct random checks on his devices at any time to ensure compliance with these restrictions.
