BRADFORD MAN JAILED FOR RELENTLESS STALKING AND THREATS
A 47-year-old man named Parmjit Singh has been reimprisoned due to his continued stalking and abusive actions toward a female victim.
During a hearing at Bradford Crown Court, it was presented that Singh had disregarded a restraining order and conditions of his prison release license by persistently harassing her through calls and voicemails.
One of his messages reportedly involved the use of a voice-changing device.
The prosecution noted that Singh insulted the woman by calling her a "clown" and made taunts claiming she had "destroyed him." He was also observed outside her mother’s home, shouting and issuing threats, including a comment, "I’d find you," after confronting her at a school.
Police had to enter his property forcibly when he refused to provide his mobile PINs.
Singh acknowledged the charges of stalking and violating the restraining order, which resulted in a sentence of two years, including six months from an earlier suspended sentence.
The judge called Singh’s conduct "corrosive" and intimidating, and imposed a new restraining order lasting ten years, barring him from contacting the woman and her mother.
He was warned that any similar offences could lead to harsher prison sentences.
