PAIGE LESLIE FROM OAKLEY SENTENCED AT DUNFERMLINE SHERIFF COURT FOR THREATENING TO POST INTIMATE PHOTOS
Paige Leslie, a 27-year-old woman residing on James Hog Crescent in Oakley, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court to face charges after threatening to share intimate photos of her former partner.She admitted that on September 25, 2019, she repeatedly threatened to publish sexually explicit images of her ex-partner through social media channels.
Court reports revealed that Leslie had previously received these private images directly from her former partner.
During the hearing, Leslie’s defence solicitor, Ian Beatson, explained that she struggles with alcohol and has difficulty recalling the messages, mentioning she had been consuming up to four bottles of wine each day.
The court was also informed that Leslie has prior convictions related to domestic offenses.
Sheriff Francis Gill stated that Leslie’s conduct would have caused significant distress to the victim, and she was subsequently sentenced to a community payback order. This included 100 hours of unpaid work and a 12-month supervision period.
