BRADFORD WOMAN BANNED FOR LIFE AFTER ANIMALS FOUND IN FILTH
Cats and dogs were found in "filthy conditions" when an RSPCA inspector visited a house in Bradford.Nicole Stoker, 45, was found to be living in appalling conditions at a house on Moorhouse Avenue along with five dogs and two cats.
Parts of the floor were said to be "ankle deep in faeces".
She admitted failing to look after the pets at her house and pleaded guilty to one animal welfare offence at Bradford Magistrates Court.
She has been banned for life from keeping all animals.
The RSPCA attended after a call to the charity’s cruelty line about the pets in her care.
Inspector Goulding reported that the house was covered in faeces and the smell of ammonia was overpowering, burning her throat.
The pets, including two cats named Shadow and Stitch, and dogs including Albus and a pug, were taken to the RSPCA’s Greater Manchester Animal Hospital.
Sadly, due to behavioral issues caused by lack of socialization, Albus and Cookie had to be euthanized.
Nala was rehomed, Sky is available for rehoming, and the brother cats are seeking a new home together.
The house conditions had deteriorated approximately six months prior to her arrest.
Stoker admitted it had been several months since she walked the dogs and that all pets were confined with no respite.
