NATHAN BOND FROM BRISTOL AND HOUNSLOW JAILED FOR SEXUAL ABUSE OF 14-YEAR-OLD GIRL

In a disturbing case that has shocked the communities of Bristol and Hounslow, Nathan Bond, a 22-year-old man, has been sentenced to two and a half years in prison for engaging in sexual activities with a vulnerable 14-year-old girl and for coercing her into producing explicit videos of herself.

According to court proceedings, the young girl confided in her family about her intimate encounters with Bond. However, the trauma she experienced was so severe that she was unable to participate in a police interview, highlighting the profound psychological impact of the abuse.

It was revealed during the investigation that Bond, who was residing in Bristol at the time of the offences, not only had sexual relations with the girl but also actively encouraged her to send him videos of her engaging in sexual acts. Furthermore, he threatened to report her to the authorities for self-harming if she refused to comply with his demands.

Bond, who has since moved to Hounslow, pleaded guilty to charges of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity. The court heard that his actions were part of a pattern of manipulative and controlling behavior aimed at exploiting the girl’s vulnerability.

Judge Mark Horton addressed Bond directly during sentencing, emphasizing the severity of his misconduct. He stated, “You knew her to be an exceptionally vulnerable 14-year-old girl who had suffered serious abuse from others and was psychologically and emotionally damaged. You knew that this girl wished and desired a real relationship with you because she sought an end to the emotional damage inflicted by others. Your sexual and emotional abuse has only compounded her suffering, leaving her wrongly blaming herself.”

As part of his sentence, Bond was ordered to register as a sex offender for ten years. Additionally, he was subjected to a five-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order designed to prevent any future offences. The court also mandated him to pay £170 in court costs.

Prosecutor Jennifer Tallentire revealed that analysis of Bond’s mobile phone and laptop showed explicit messages exchanged with the girl. She explained, “He was encouraging her to perform sex acts, film them, and take pictures of herself to send to him. He also threatened to report her for self-harming if she did not comply.”

Judge Horton confirmed that, based on the evidence, Bond had encouraged the girl to carry out an “extremely painful” act on herself. The messages exchanged over a two-week period detailed the coercive and manipulative nature of his conduct.

Despite his previous good character, Bond admitted to having sex with the girl on a few occasions, a fact that further underscores the gravity of his misconduct. The case serves as a stark reminder of the dangers faced by vulnerable minors and the importance of safeguarding measures to protect them from exploitation and abuse.
