Seven men from Bradford who groomed and sexually abused a vulnerable girl have been jailed.
The victim was sexually exploited from the age of 13 and continued to be abused when she was in a Bradford children's home early 2000s.
Wajid Hussain (left), Mohammed Naheem (centre), and Nadeem Ali were among the men sentenced at Bradford Crown Court.
The victim, who has a right to anonymity, addressed her abusers in a statement read by the prosecutor, describing how she had been exploited for sexual gratification and that their actions destroyed her childhood.
The court heard that the victim suffers from chronic post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, and high anxiety levels due to the abuse.
She expressed her sorrow and anger over the police failure to address her plight and revealed she had contemplated taking her own life.
The sentencing was part of a broader case where other men involved received sentences for similar crimes, with the judge condemning their exploitation of a vulnerable girl and highlighting societal failure to protect her.
