MYLES WILLIAMS FROM HACKNEY SENTENCED TO LIFE FOR BRUTAL MURDER IN EAST LONDON

In a tragic and harrowing case that has shocked the community of Hackney in east London, Myles Williams, a 19-year-old resident of the area, has been handed a life sentence in prison for the savage murder of his girlfriend, Kirsty Treloar. The devastating incident took place on the 2nd of January, a day that will forever be marked by violence and loss.

According to court reports, Williams carried out the brutal attack in front of their 26-day-old child, a newborn who was present during the horrifying event. Williams stabbed Kirsty a total of 29 times, inflicting wounds so severe that her body was left behind wheelie bins approximately two miles away from the scene, after being dragged into Williams's car. The scene was described as particularly gruesome, with Kirsty's body found in a blood-soaked state, highlighting the extreme violence of the assault.

Despite Williams's claims that he could not remember attacking her, the evidence presented in court was overwhelming. It was revealed that just a day prior to the murder, Williams had sent Kirsty a text message promising that he would not harm her again. In the message, he wrote, "Okay wer all gud now and my new yrs ressy is that i aint going to hit u again and i won't hit u 4 this yr next yr the yr after that." This message was seen as a stark contrast to the brutal reality of the attack that followed.

The court heard that Kirsty's brother and sister attempted to intervene and defend her during the assault, but their efforts were unsuccessful. The judge at the Old Bailey described the attack as 'exceptional' in its brutality, emphasizing the severity and senselessness of the violence. The case also drew attention to the disturbing pattern of violence towards women, with Det Chief Insp Andy Yeats describing the offense as 'appalling and violent' and highlighting Williams's apparent propensity for such behavior.

Williams's actions have left a community in mourning and a family devastated. The judge sentenced him to serve a minimum of 28 years in prison, ensuring that he will remain behind bars for a significant period. This case underscores the tragic consequences of domestic violence and the importance of addressing such issues before they escalate to irreversible tragedy.
