In a recent court ruling, Muhammad Sadaqad, a man from Sandiacre, has been sentenced to three years in prison following his conviction for sexually assaulting a young girl at Kenilworth’s swimming pools.

The incident, which took place in the early 1990s, remained undisclosed for many years before coming to light.

According to court records, Sadaqad, who was approximately 20 years old at the time of the assault, faced ten counts of indecent assault.

The victim, whose courage led her to document the abuse, only decided to report the incident after more than twenty years had passed.
