EAST LOTHIAN MAN JAILED FOR THE BRUTAL WIFE MURDER
An East Lothian man who has been convicted of murdering his wife has been unmasked by police.Mompati Dodo Isaacs, 39, was found guilty of killing Keotshepile Naso Issacs, known as Naso, at Edinburgh's High Court on Wednesday, September 17.
The killer repeatedly stabbed Naso in the head, neck in body at their home on Craigleith Avenue, North Berwick, in East Lothian, on New Year's Day last year as he believed Naso was having an affair.
On Monday, January 1, 2024, officers were called to a disturbance at a property on Craigleith Avenue in the town.
Naso was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detective Chief Inspector Debbie Duncan said: “This was a senseless crime which took the life of a much-loved woman who was the mother of three children.
This attack left her family devastated and shocked the community.
“We hope that this conviction brings them some measure of comfort.
“Police Scotland remains committed to bringing those who commit such violent acts to justice.” Update 31-10-2025 he received a life prison sentence with a minimum of 21 years behind bars.
