MICHAEL NICOLA COSCO FROM OLDBURY BANNED FROM LEISURE CENTRES IN COVENTRY AND SUTTON COLDFIELD AFTER SEX OFFENDER CONVICTION
Michael Nicola Cosco, a 46-year-old sex offender originally from Oldbury near Birmingham, has recently been subjected to a stringent civil order following his conviction for indecent exposure.The order specifically prohibits him from entering all leisure centres and restricts his ability to associate with children under the age of 16 without prior police approval.
This legal measure was granted by the Coventry magistrates' court as part of efforts to mitigate the risk posed by Cosco, who has a long-standing history of sexual offenses spanning over two decades.
Cosco's criminal record includes multiple incidents of inappropriate behavior, notably at Coventry Sports Centre and Sutton Coldfield.
His past actions have marked him as a high-risk individual in the eyes of law enforcement, prompting authorities to seek protective measures to safeguard the community.
The court's decision was influenced by recommendations from the Multi Agency Public Protection Panel, a body dedicated to assessing and managing the risks associated with sexual offenders.
Currently, Cosco is nearing the conclusion of a two-month jail sentence, which was part of his ongoing legal proceedings.
