A man has been charged after another man reported being raped.
The alleged attack took place between 2 April and 5 April at a property in Brighton, Sussex Police reported.
Michael Fry, aged 43, who has no fixed abode, is accused of sexual offences and drug offences and is scheduled to appear before Brighton Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
The alleged victim, a man whose identity cannot be disclosed for legal reasons, made a report to Sussex Police on Saturday.
Fry faces two counts of rape and administering a substance with the intent to stupefy or overpower in order to facilitate sexual activity, as well as charges of causing the victim to engage in penetrative sexual activity, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, blackmail, and voyeurism.
Detective Chief Superintendent Richard McDonagh commented that this case is complex and wide-ranging, and authorities are encouraging witnesses or those with vital information to come forward.
