MICHAEL DUNCAN FROM BLETCHLEY SENTENCED FOR CHILD SEX OFFENCES IN BUCKS AND MILTON KEYNES

Michael Duncan, who was previously known by the surname McGowan, resides on The Crescent in Bletchley.
His criminal activities spanned several years and involved vulnerable young girls, with the offences committed in different locations including Milton Keynes and the Bletchley area itself.
On Monday, April 4, Duncan was found guilty of one count of rape against a seven-year-old girl and one count of indecent assault against an eight-year-old girl.
The trial, which lasted a week at Aylesbury Crown Court, revealed disturbing details about the offences.
The rape incident occurred sometime between December 1996 and December 1997, while the indecent assault took place earlier, between April 1996 and November 1996.
For the rape charge, Duncan was sentenced to five years in prison.
Additionally, he received a six-month sentence for the indecent assault, but crucially, these sentences are to run concurrently, meaning he will serve the total time simultaneously.
This results in a combined imprisonment period of five years.
Further complicating his criminal record, Duncan was also convicted on September 14, 2015, at Aylesbury Crown Court of another indecent assault.
This offence involved a different girl and took place in Milton Keynes when Duncan was just 14 years old.
The court sentenced him to two years’ imprisonment for this particular offence, which will also run concurrently with his other sentences.

His arrest was made on March 10, 2014, and he was formally charged with these offences on September 29, 2014.
