MAN SENTENCED TO 16 YEARS FOR SEXUAL OFFENCES INVOLVING UNDERAGE GIRL
A convicted sex offender has been handed a lengthy prison sentence for sexual activity with his girlfriend’s underage daughter.Thames Valley Police reported that Elvis Nosakhare, aged 41, was sentenced to 16 years in prison at Aylesbury Crown Court on Tuesday, July 29, for five sex offences involving a girl.
The court found him guilty of two counts of engaging in sexual activity with a girl and three counts of engaging in non-penetrative sexual activity earlier this year.
The criminal started his offending after meeting the mother of the victim through an online dating website, subsequently having sexual contact with her daughter.
Thames Valley Police described it as a “disgusting betrayal of trust”.
Nosakhare's address was listed as Sheelin Grove in Bletchley.
As part of his sentence, he will be placed on the Sex Offenders Register for life, and a restraining order has been issued against him.
Detective Constable Bryn Smith of the Child Abuse Unit stated, “I want to commend the victim for her bravery throughout both the investigation and court proceedings.
I hope that Elvis Nosakhare’s conviction and sentence gives her some sense of justice.” The police officer also emphasized Thames Valley Police’s dedication to tackling sexual offences and supporting victims, encouraging anyone with information to come forward.
