He also inscribed words like 'old' and 'saggy' on her breasts and the word 'FAT' across her stomach. Her daughter, now aged 18, provided testimony that Coyle had sexually assaulted her when she was around 12 or 13, attempting to insert his penis into her mouth.

Michael Coyle's political ambitions included standing as a candidate for Westminster Parliament representing the BNP in Glasgow South in 2010, where he received only 637 votes. He also ran as a candidate for the Scottish Parliament in 2011 for the Linlithgow constituency under the National Front banner, securing only 558 votes. His failed political pursuits, however, do not overshadow the severity of his criminal actions, which have left a lasting scar on his victims and the community of Livingston.
