MICHAEL BENNETT FROM FLINT JAILED FOR HISTORIC SEXUAL ABUSE IN FLINTSHIRE AND LLANDUDNO

A 62-year-old man from Flint, identified as Michael Bennett, has been sentenced to prison for his involvement in historic sexual abuse cases involving two young girls. The incidents occurred over a period spanning from 2006 to 2007, during which Bennett committed multiple acts of sexual assault against the victims.

Michael Bennett, who resides at Maes Gwyn in Flint, appeared before Caernarfon Crown Court for sentencing. The court proceedings took place at Llandudno Magistrates Court, where Bennett was convicted of three counts of sexual assault of a child. The conviction followed a thorough investigation and legal process that confirmed his guilt in these serious offenses.

In his sentencing, Bennett was handed a term of seven years in prison, reflecting the gravity of his crimes. Additionally, the court imposed a sexual harm prevention order to restrict his future conduct and protect the community from potential harm.
