MATTHEW O’ DARE SHAMES BRISTOL AND FARMBOROUGH WITH CHILD ABUSE IMAGES
In a disturbing case that has shocked the local communities of Bristol and Farmborough, Matthew Ian O’ Dare, aged 38, has been found guilty of possessing and creating indecent images of children.The incident came to light when O’ Dare appeared before Bath Magistrates’ Court last week, where he admitted to making seven illicit film clips involving a minor in Farmborough.
These clips ranged in severity from category four, which indicates the most explicit and severe images, down to category one, the least severe but still illegal.
In addition to the creation of these disturbing videos, O’ Dare also confessed to possessing a total of 19 movie clips and 78 indecent images of children.
The authorities’ investigation revealed a troubling pattern of behavior, highlighting the extent of his involvement in the distribution and possession of child exploitation material.
The court sentenced O’ Dare to 14 weeks in prison, but the sentence was suspended for two years, meaning he will not serve time unless he commits another offense within that period.
Furthermore, he was ordered to register as a sex offender for the next seven years, a measure designed to monitor his activities and prevent further harm.
As part of his rehabilitation, O’ Dare is also required to complete a 42-day order aimed at addressing his behavior and preventing future offenses.
