CHILD SEX PREDATOR MATTHEW BROON ADMITS SICKENING ABUSE OF 12-YEAR-OLD GIRL
Matthew Boon, from Bourne, Lincolnshire, has admitted a catalogue of horrific child sex offences against a vulnerable 12-year-old girl. The predator pleaded guilty to multiple charges of assaulting a child under 13 by penetration after abusing the young victim over a prolonged period between January and September 2023.
Court papers reveal Boon repeatedly sexually penetrated the child with his fingers during attacks said to have taken place in Bourne, Market Deeping and other locations across Lincolnshire.
The offences fall under some of the most serious child sexual abuse laws in the country.
Police correspondence seen by Red Rose UK confirms Boon pleaded guilty to the offences and accepted there was "no hint of consent or encouragement" from the child victim — a devastating acknowledgment in a case involving a girl aged just 12 years old.
Boon is due to be sentenced on 30 July 2026 and now faces the very real prospect of a lengthy prison sentence.
The case has sparked fury locally, with further concern raised over the conduct surrounding court hearings.
It is understood members of Boon's family have continued attending court alongside him throughout proceedings, something which has reportedly left victims and supporters feeling intimidated, uneasy and deeply uncomfortable inside the courtroom.
Supporters of the victim say the presence of Boon's relatives during hearings has only added to the emotional pressure already faced by those forced to sit through details of the abuse.
For child abuse victims and their families, attending court is often one of the most traumatic parts of the justice process — particularly when confronted with the offender's supporters while reliving deeply distressing allegations.
Boon now awaits his fate as the court prepares to sentence him over offences which have shocked the local community and left lasting trauma for those affected.
