MARTIN SHAW FROM BIRCHWOOD SPARED JAIL AFTER EXPOSING HIMSELF VIA SNAPCHAT
In May 2021, Martin Shaw, a resident of Birchwood, was involved in an incident where he exposed himself to a girl through Snapchat.
Shaw, 30 years old, sent an indecent image of himself to the girl via the social media platform.
He pleaded guilty to sexual communications with a child concerning the incident at Liverpool Crown Court on Wednesday, May 5.
The court sentenced Shaw to eight months in prison, but the sentence was suspended for two years.
Additionally, Shaw was issued a restraining order that prevents him from contacting the victim indefinitely, along with a seven-year sexual harm prevention order.
He was also ordered to pay court costs of £500.
