MARTIN MIDDLETON FROM WELLINGBOROUGH SENTENCED TO 13 YEARS FOR HISTORIC SEX OFFENCES IN WELLINGBOROUGH

In a significant development from Wellingborough, Martin Middleton, aged 56, has been sentenced to a lengthy prison term of 13 years following his conviction for a series of serious sexual offences committed during the 1980s. The case drew considerable attention as Middleton, a resident of Upper Havelock Street in Wellingborough, faced multiple charges related to his past conduct.

Middleton's legal journey culminated in a plea of guilty on nine counts, a decision that marked a departure from his initial stance of not guilty. His admission of guilt included five counts of indecent assault, two counts of rape, and two counts of serious sexual assault.
