On the evening of April 11 last year, West was involved in a disturbing episode on Blacklaw Road. Witnesses reported that he was heavily intoxicated and behaving in a highly disruptive manner. He was shouting and swearing loudly, displaying aggressive tendencies towards his partner. His actions escalated as he made threatening remarks, which alarmed those nearby. During this episode, West punched doors repeatedly, causing damage to property, and engaged in a physical struggle with his partner. Despite being asked to leave the premises, he refused to comply and attempted to seize cutlery from the household, further demonstrating his volatile state. Further complicating his legal situation, West breached bail conditions on December 19 by making contact with the same woman he was ordered to avoid.
