MARK FEELY, THE DANGEROUS PAEDOPHILE FROM ROTHERHAM, STRIKES AGAIN IN LEEDS AND BEYOND

In a recent development in the ongoing saga surrounding Mark Feely, the case against him was officially dismissed by the court on September 2. This decision came during a scheduled hearing where West Yorkshire Police sought to request a variation in the conditions of Feely's bail. Despite his absence from the court proceedings, the police presented no evidence to support the case, leading the magistrates to conclude that there was insufficient grounds to proceed, and consequently, the case was dropped.

Feely, aged 35 and known to have no fixed address, had been under scrutiny for alleged breaches of a sexual risk order. The charges stemmed from an incident on July 31 in Hunslet, Leeds, where it was claimed that he used a Snapchat account with an unknown username, in violation of a court-imposed restriction. This restriction was originally put in place by Birmingham Magistrates' Court on June 17, 2020, as part of a sexual harm prevention order designed to restrict his online activities and interactions with minors.

Previously, Feely had pleaded not guilty to the breach at Leeds Magistrates' Court on August 10 and was remanded on bail pending his upcoming trial scheduled for October 7. The trial was set to examine whether he had indeed violated the terms of his sexual risk order by engaging with social media platforms, specifically Snapchat, which he allegedly used to contact minors despite the restrictions.

Mark Feely is a self-confessed paedophile who openly admits to being sexually attracted to underage girls. His online activities have repeatedly brought him into the spotlight, as he has been caught multiple times by paedophile hunting groups attempting to groom young girls through various online platforms. Despite overwhelming evidence and his own admissions, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has often declined to prosecute him for sexual offences, citing his learning difficulties and mental health issues as mitigating factors.

Feely maintains active social media accounts, with TikTok being his preferred platform. On TikTok, he commands an audience of approximately 5,000 followers, many of whom are children. His erratic, bizarre, and sexualized behavior on these platforms has garnered him a following, with some children perceiving his antics as humorous. However, what they fail to realize is that behind the facade is a dangerous individual who derives sexual gratification from interacting with minors online.

Many experts and concerned members of the public consider Feely to be a significant threat to children. His repeated avoidance of prosecution and the police’s reluctance to take more decisive action have only emboldened him. Despite threats to his life from outraged viewers, Feely appears to thrive on the attention and notoriety he has gained.

Originally from Rotherham, Feely has been moved multiple times across various towns in the UK—at least twenty different locations—often staying in hotels and bed-and-breakfast establishments. These moves are reportedly at the expense of taxpayers and are intended to provide him with protection from potential retaliation or harm. His transient lifestyle and online presence continue to pose a serious risk to vulnerable young girls, highlighting the ongoing failure of authorities to effectively address his dangerous behavior.
