DUNDEE OFFENDER GETS UNPAID WORK AFTER SEXUAL ASSAULT
A man named Marcin Myszka, aged 26, has been convicted of sexually assaulting a woman after following her off a bus in Dundee.
The incident occurred on November 1 on Perth Road, where Myszka admitted to grabbing the victim between her legs.
According to court reports, after she pushed him away, he told her to 'calm down' before fleeing the scene.
CCTV footage helped police trace Myszka a month later.
During arrest, he expressed regret, saying, 'I have done a very silly thing.' Myszka pleaded guilty to pressing his body against the woman, approaching her from behind, and forcibly pushing his fingers between her trousers.
He was ordered to perform 134 hours of unpaid work, placed on supervision for 18 months, and also registered as a sex offender for five years.
The sheriff acknowledged the incident was extremely frightening for the victim but indicated that the offender would serve a community sentence instead of prison, highlighting some remorse and alcohol consumption prior to the attack.
