According to court reports, Rowlands strangled Ms.

After the murder, he proceeded to wrap her body in tape and clingfilm, attempting to conceal the crime.
The court heard that following this heinous act, Rowlands ordered food and drugs to be delivered to their flat, indicating a disturbing level of detachment or perhaps an attempt to cover his tracks.
