MAN, 41, JAILED AFTER HE SENT SEXUALLY EXPLICIT MESSAGES TO '12-YEAR-OLD GIRL'
A 41-year-old man is beginning a six-year prison sentence after he sent sexually explicit messages to a police officer posing online as a 12-year-old girl.Bradford Crown Court heard that Massey’s messaging had been “extremely graphic and persistent” with 67 pages of messages over 10 days in May 2023.
He tried to incite the “decoy” child to perform sexual acts and also sent sexual images of himself.
Massey pleaded guilty to attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child under 13, attempting to incite a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity, and possessing indecent images of children.
He will also be subject to an indefinite sexual harm prevention order and must register as a sex offender for life.
