LUKE BAIRD FROM LUDGERSHALL SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT IN ANDOVER
In a recent court proceeding held at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court, Luke Baird, a resident of Ludgershall, was found guilty of a serious sexual misconduct incident that took place in Andover.The incident occurred on April 23 of the previous year, when Baird, then 27 years old, engaged in inappropriate sexual touching of a woman without her consent.
Following the hearing, magistrates issued a comprehensive sentence aimed at both punishment and rehabilitation.
Baird was ordered to adhere to a community order that includes a mandatory rehabilitation requirement spanning 40 days.
Additionally, he is required to complete 300 hours of unpaid community work, emphasizing the court's focus on restorative justice.
Furthermore, the court imposed a five-year sex offender registration requirement on Baird, ensuring ongoing monitoring and management of his conduct.
