LOGAN THEW SENT PICTURES OF HIS PENIS TO A 13-YEAR-OLD DECOY
A man from Cramlington, Northumberland, has avoided jail after being caught by Dank Dragon paedophile hunters attempting to groom what he believed was a 13-year-old girl online.Logan Thew, 24, living at Scott Street, East Hartford, Cramlington, sent sexually explicit messages and images of his penis to a decoy posing as a young girl named “Chloe.” The court heard the construction worker continued messaging after being told her age, asking for indecent photos and urging her to skip school to take them.
The decoy received messages saying 'hello darling'.
The decoy responded that she was 13 years old, which did not stop Thew messaging her.
He asked if he could be her boyfriend and asked her for nude pictures of her breasts and genitalia.
The court was told that during one chat, the decoy told Thew she was in school.
He then urged her to leave the lesson and take pictures of herself in the toilets.
He also sent three pictures of his penis to the 13-year-old decoy.
Thew, who is a father, was reported to police by the vigilante group and he was arrested in Blyth on December 13.
He had no previous convictions.
He was arrested in December and admitted attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child.
At Newcastle Crown Court, he received an eight-month prison sentence, suspended for 18 months, along with a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
